استخدام Linux System Administrator

Here at Hermes Capital we are looking for talented computer scientists and engineers to join and
help us in the Design and development of solutions targeting Iran's financial sector - our flagship
projects are algorithmic trading and Monitoring systems both in Stock and Crypto Markets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Linux Administrator, DevOps or similar role at least 2 years

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate Automation processes
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Perform regular Backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and fail over procedures.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Linux administration knowledge, LPIC1&2
• Good command on virtualization concepts, VMware ESXi, Docker.
• Solid knowledge of Networking concepts, VLAN, DNS, IP, SSL, Routing, Switching, Cisco CCNA, CCNP would be plus.
• Experience with Monitoring tools , Grafana, Prometheus, OpManager.
• Experience with infrastructure Automation tools, Ansible, Bash Script.
• Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Logging solutions ,ELK stack.
• Flexibility, accountability and self-discipline
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly
• Professional proficiency in English language (Reading & understanding technical documents)

These items would be plus:

• Ubuntu Server Hands on would be plus.
• Familiarity with Message Queues Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with databases PostgreSQL, MongoDB .
• Familiarity with Clustering applications and Storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Enterprise hardware, HP Servers, Cisco Switches and Routers.
• Experience with Security best practices and appliances Fortigate, pfsense.
