We are looking for an experienced developer to help build improve and build out backend code that interfaces with external systems.

What you'll be doing

Working hand in hand with other engineers developing and running a high traffic Node.js application,

development of projects related to Blockchain technologies, peer to peer video Streaming, and meeting platforms.

Day to day work will involve writing code, developing tests, and Debugging.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Node.js experience
• 5+ years of JavaScript experience, TypeScript is also a must
• 2+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with complex node apps in large enterprise environments
• Comfortable working with multiple different data storage systems ranging from Redis to SQL
• Familiarity with continuous integration solutions
• Experience in Docker and containerized applications
• You write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the codebase in check
• Understanding and previous experience implementing authentication schemes such as OAuth2
• Deep understanding of JS best-practices (Security issues, type-safe code, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex APIs - REST, Streaming, webhooks
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
