We are looking for an experienced Node.js developer to help building our backend services and also help to migrate into a microservice Architecture.

What you'll be doing

Working hand in hand with other engineers developing and running a high traffic Node.js application,

development of projects related to Blockchain technologies, peer-to-peer video Streaming, and meeting platforms.

Day-to-day work will involve writing code, developing tests, Debugging, and communicating with other team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Node.js experience
• 5+ years of JavaScript experience, TypeScript is also a must
• 2+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with complex node apps in large enterprise environments
• Comfortable working with multiple different data storage systems ranging from Redis to SQL
• Familiarity with continuous integration solutions
• Experience in Docker and containerized applications
• You write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the codebase in check
• Understanding and previous experience implementing authentication schemes such as OAuth2
• Deep understanding of JS best-practices (Security issues, type-safe code, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex APIs - REST, Streaming, webhooks
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Meteor Knowledge about cryptocurrencies
• P2P networks
• Webtorrent
• Blockchain

The salary range is between 10-15 US dollars per hour and is paid with cryptocurrency.
