The team

You will be part of our Back-end team where we build, develop, and optimise the technology that powers our servers, applications, and databases. We also troubleshoot and debug problems to ensure the high efficiency of our systems.

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Back-end Developer, responsible for creating advanced applications and interfaces for our clients. In this role, you will use your experience to write high-quality, production-level code that energises our websites and applications. You will also build microservices Architecture, delivering highly agile, modular solutions for the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced applications, plugins, and APIs for internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot and debug problems, and optimise web applications during development and deployment for maximum speed and scalability.
• Review codes and develop automated integration and unit tests to ensure high performance.
• Improve the consistency and maintainability of our codebases.
• Provide technical leadership and lead junior members of the team in challenging projects.

Minimum requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Perl, PHP, C/C++, Go, Ruby, or Python
• Deep knowledge of information Security and data protection
• Experience in Nginx, JavaScript, Redis, and Git and familiarity with microservices and scalable systems
• Experience in using test-driven development (TDD) techniques to write high-quality, self-documenting code.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

Preferred experience

• Experience with studying user behavior in a data-driven approach
• Familiarity with Linux system administration
• Ability to handle relational Database Design and/or open-source RDBMS systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Understanding of Front-end technologies
