Description

We are a small team of self-starter developers with a passion for building
things and helping others. Our end goal is to provide a tool for students to
make better decisions based on data collected from their peers. We do that by
providing an online tool for visualizing data.

Who are you?

You are an excellent Front-end developer with a passion for building accessible
and elegant websites and web applications. You are a self-starter and are not
afraid of taking hard problems and coming up with a feasible solution.

You are also reasonably experienced with modern HTML/CSS and JavaScript tools.
You are willing to learn new technologies and constantly keep yourself up to
date with them, at the same time you do not follow the hypes blindly and stick
to what works for you.

You are a great fit if

• You like to learn and do your best to keep yourself up-to-date with new technologies
• You are a problem solver, willing to dive in to find solutions to hard problems
• You feel comfortable around Linux terminal and open-source technologies
• You don't mind working in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Front-end development and at least one Front-end framework
• Excellent communication skills, you are responsible to take business requirements and translate them into working solutions
• Proficient work-level English language
• Ability to work remotely, with people in different timezones
• Ability to work at least 30 hours per week
• Experience with API development, RESTful and WebSocket

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions which can be shared with us
• Experience with material-ui and ReactJS
• Prior experience with backend/Database development
• A good understanding of Testing (integration, smoke, e2e, etc.)
• Understanding of CI/CD and how to use code quality tools
• Experience with UI/UX Design
