What you'll be doing:
Design highly performant trading gateways for our customers and our Front-end team.
Design, build, and maintain backend services which help with trade matching, accounting, financial reporting, liquidity and risk management.
Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems.
Work with engineers and business owners to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.

What we look for in you:

4+ years of professional experience.

You’ve designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service-oriented Architecture.

You build applications from scratch including coordinations with the other key stakeholders.

You write high quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.

Strong people (engineering) management experience, strategic team planning, chief solution Architecture and technical cost, infrastructure designs and cost management.

Strong communication skills and can act as an advisor, coach, mentor, and partner all at the same time. Can represent the Tech team to ideate, plan and contribute.

Requirements:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related area.

Experience with Go, Node.js.

Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL at scale.

Familiarity with Cassandra.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with ELK Stack.

Must have designed, built, scaled and maintained large-scale production services, and know how to compose a service-oriented Architecture.

Nice to Haves:

Work experience at an exchange, financial or banking related institution, eCommerce or payments processing.

Interest/knowledge/experience in the crypto/blockchain/technology space.

Knowledge in the finance and Security space.
