Nahanet is looking to hire a C++ Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing software development team.

On our team, you will be designing, developing, and supporting the core functionality that drives our technology and services using the latest technology available.

We work on large-scale, high-throughput real-time network appliances.

Responsibilities

• Develop, Design, evaluate, debug and maintain products according to software specifications using C++ programming language.
• Contribute to Design and development of support libraries using C++ programing language.
• Read and interpret C/C++/Python or a combination of all.
• Utilize test driven development to improve software quality.
• Develop software specifications according to requirements.
• Document software requirements, specifications, Design and implementation to enhance future maintenance of products.
• Participate in Design meetings and communicate your ideas clearly to the REST of the team.
• Research and propose innovative practical solutions to problems.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and learning activities with team members.
• Participate in scrum methodology through planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings.
• Work both independently and in a team setting.

Mandatory Requirements

• Lively and ambitious personality (non-negotiable!)
• Familiar with modern C++
• Familiar with C++17 and 20 standards
• Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Proven experience in writing clean code
• Eager to learn new technologies
• Great understanding of data structures and Algorithm
• Experience with Git and Linux

Optional Requirements

• Experience with regular expressions (Regex)
• Familiar with network concepts and protocols
• Work experience in high-throughput real-time processing solutions
• Familiar with DPDK library
• Familiar with Hyperscan library
